9. The ‘ Wow!’ Signal – A Message from Aliens?
In 1977, a important radio signal was detected by Ohio State University’s Big observance telescope. It lasted 72 seconds and was so unusual that astronomer Jerry Ehman wrote “ Wow! ” next to the data. To this day, no bone knows what caused it, making it one of the strongest pieces of implicit substantiation for extraterrestrial life.
