In parts of Himachal Pradesh, especially near Hamirpur, stone engravings and circular formations have been discovered that resemble spiral battle designs. Some historians believe these may represent symbolic or training diagrams rather than literal battlefield maps.

This suggests that advanced military strategies were known in ancient India, even if their epic descriptions were later dramatized.
