7. Highest Pool Dive

Imagine belly-flopping from 200 feet (61 meters). That’s what Laso Schaller did when he dove from a mountain ridge into a pool of water below. Falling at 76 mph (122 km/h), he hit the water with such force that he dislocated his hip on impact. Even though French diver Olivier Favre had set a previous record at 177 feet (54 meters), Schaller took it to the next level—and paid the price.
