3. Highest Free-Fall Parachute Jump

Jumping from a plane is extreme, but how about from space? Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner made history when he jumped from a helium balloon 127,000 feet (38,700 meters) above the Earth, reaching a speed of 843 mph (1,357 km/h). He became the first person to break the sound barrier without using any vehicle. But just two years later, Alan Eustace went even higher—jumping from 135,000 feet (41,000 meters)! Talk about pushing limits.
