1. Argentinosaurus – The Largest Dinosaur Ever

Argentinosaurus is considered the largest dinosaur ever discovered.

• Length: around 121–131 feet
• Weight: similar to 12 Tyrannosaurus rexes
• Herbivorous diet

Earlier estimates for other dinosaurs were exaggerated, but research shows Argentinosaurus was likely larger than a blue whale in length.

It went extinct 66 million years ago during the asteroid impact that wiped out all non-avian dinosaurs.
