Elasmotherium – The Siberian Unicorn

Elasmotherium was a giant prehistoric rhinoceros often called the Siberian Unicorn.

It had:

  • A massive single horn (possibly over 1 meter long)
  • A body larger than modern rhinos
  • Thick fur for Ice Age climates

It lived until around 39,000 years ago, meaning early humans may have seen it.
Climate change and human activity likely caused its extinction.
