Split Apple Rock is found near Abel Tasman National Park in New Zealand. This huge granite boulder is split almost perfectly in half, looking exactly like a sliced apple.

According to scientists, the split likely happened due to freeze-thaw weathering, where water enters cracks and expands when frozen. Local Maori legends, however, say it was split by fighting gods.
